Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Fantasy Tutor Academy (“we”, “us”, or “our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our website at https://fantasytutor.academy and any related services. This page is maintained by the Fantasy Tutor Academy team to answer common privacy questions about the app.

Information we collect

• Account information: email address and password hash when you create an account. We do not store passwords in plain text.
• Profile data: optional roster imports, sport preferences, and saved posts used to personalize your experience.
• Usage data: anonymized page views, feature usage, and crash reports to help us improve the product.
• Device data: browser type, IP address, and approximate location inferred by our analytics provider. In the mobile app, advertising identifiers and similar device data may also be processed for ads (see “Advertising” below).

How we use your information

We use your information to operate the service, personalize recommendations, detect abuse, and improve our features. We do not sell your personal data. We may share aggregated or anonymized data with our analytics provider.

Cookies, website storage, analytics, and tracking technologies

The Application may display content and services provided through our website using an in-app web browser (WebView). The Application and the website may use cookies, local storage, SDKs, pixels, and similar technologies to provide and maintain essential functionality, keep users signed in, remember preferences, analyze usage, and improve the Service.

Necessary storage and cookies may be used without consent where they are required for the Application or website to function, including authentication, maintaining user sessions, security, and essential preferences.

Optional analytics technologies may be used to help us understand how users interact with our content and which lessons or features are useful. Where consent is required, we will ask for your consent before enabling optional analytics technologies. You may choose to accept or reject optional analytics through the cookie/consent mechanism provided within the Application or website.

We do not use advertising cookies on our website for serving advertisements. This website displays no advertising. However, the Application may display advertisements through third-party advertising providers, such as Google AdMob. These advertising providers may collect and process information such as device information, advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location, and information about interactions with advertisements, subject to their own privacy policies and your privacy choices.

Where Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework applies, the Application will request your permission before accessing information for tracking purposes as defined by Apple. If you do not grant tracking permission, the Application will respect that choice and will not use the information for tracking purposes that require such permission.

You may purchase an available subscription to remove advertisements from the Application. The subscription does not necessarily disable the essential cookies or storage required for the Application or website to function.

Third-party advertising — Google AdMob

The Application may use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob and its associated services may collect information from the Application, including device and advertising information, to provide, deliver, measure, and improve advertising services.

Depending on your choices, applicable laws, and Apple’s permission requirements, advertising may be personalized or non-personalized. Where required by Apple, the Application will request permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework before performing tracking.

Users who purchase an applicable subscription may have advertisements removed from the Application.

Third-party services

We use service providers for hosting, authentication and database services, analytics, in-app purchase and subscription management, and — in the mobile app only — advertising through Google AdMob. These providers process data on our behalf or as independent controllers under appropriate contractual safeguards. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites linked from our content.

Your choices

You can update your account information or delete your account from your profile settings in the app. Deleting your account removes your personal data from active systems within a reasonable time, subject to legal retention requirements. On the website you can decline non-essential analytics storage through the cookie banner. In the mobile app you can withdraw ad consent where it was requested, and you can limit or reset ad personalization in your device settings (iOS tracking and Apple Advertising settings, or Android ad settings) at any time.

Children

Fantasy Tutor Academy is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated effective date.
