Scoring formats & data freshness

The pool and draft cost come from Sleeper's public player data on a scheduled refresh. There are no live stats, projections, or injury designations attached to a player row, so treat draft cost as market context only and check official team sources for status.

Using draft cost as a sanity check

A player going in the fourth round on average is being valued as a weekly starter by the whole market. If someone offers you that player for a late-round flyer, the gap in draft cost is your first clue that the offer deserves a closer look — and if a player you rostered in round two has fallen out of the top hundred, that gap tells you the market has moved on. Draft cost will not tell you what happens next, but it tells you what everybody else believed.
